Responsibilities

 The Regional Ops Manager works closely with operations and practice leadership to drive optimum Practice Life Cycle Management including organizational dynamics, financial performance and same store growth, operational efficiency, safety advocacy and oversight in the assigned sub-region.

 

  • Manages practice operations through assisting the Director and practice in managing the practice staffing model, both clinical and non-clinical, to ensure practices are appropriately staffed.
  • Attend meetings and participate with physicians, practices and hospital administrators as required.
  • Assist Director in managing and contracting projects, existing and negotiations with legal including but not limited to hospital and employment contract tracking and monitoring for changes, renewals, and increase.
  • Manages the process of bringing new physicians or key staff into the practice, serves as the point person for the shared services division during on-boarding process ensuring a seamless on-boarding experience as well as assisting People Services and Director in recruitment process as needed by screening candidates, managing requisitions, and conducting interviews.
  • Collaborates with Ambulatory, Business Development and Marketing department to develop and produce region intel for operational improvements, growth and business development.
  • Assist in and supports marketing promotional activities as well as assist with preparing and rolling out communication initiatives.
  • Assist in monthly financial reviews, ensures the practices are achieving profitability metrics, and works closely with Practice Management and Practice Medical Directors on problem areas with a focus on resolution. This includes the review and analysis of monthly financial statements for multiple practices.
  • Manages pro forma process by providing finance overview of business and specific financial data necessary to complete the pro forma and work with the Director Operations to develop and plan for the budget and assist the finance department in obtaining necessary data to complete the budget.
  • Collaborates with integration team to ensure all departments are notified of any new pro formas and attend all conference calls to monitor progress.
  • Supports and assists operation team in developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with Practice leadership and physicians.
  • Assists in systems training and workflow optimization.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Lean Certification Preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in financial management and analysis including development of pro forma, contracting, business development, and physician relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinker with the ability to logically evaluate all aspects of situations and problems to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to find collaborative and positive outcomes
  • High degree of personal accountability, emotional intelligence, energy and entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Up to 25% travel required, typically within assigned region
