As part of the Clinical Team, Apple is looking for an individual who will partner with team members across the company to develop health products. Candidates must possess deep subject matter expertise in general medicine and be proficient in a broad range of medical topics.
The ideal candidate has a strong desire to build innovative consumer-focused features, is effective at implementing detailed deliverables on time, is capable of working closely with multi-functional teams, engages in open discussion and debate well, and does not shy from a challenge.
This person will have a broad and deep domain expertise in general medicine with an ability to dive into more niche topics in health as needed. Candidates must have expertise working in clinical settings that include both highly sophisticated specialized cases and common everyday cases. Responsibilities include:
• Conduct thorough literature reviews and summarize key points
• Define current guidelines and standards of care and identify gaps in the current standards
• Investigate the pathophysiology of new health domains
• Be able to both deeply dive into the details as well as summarize the problems encountered by patients and providers in various health domains
• Distill knowledge into requirements and principles that advise product development
• Partner with engineering teams to support algorithm development including the design of feasibility studies
• Study design
• Development of operational protocols and data review processes
• Communicate and manage relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners
• Anticipate, adjust for, and communicate problems, risks, and roadblocks.
This is a site-based role.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
