Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing Implementation Manager to join our Operations team at our Topeka, KS office location! This candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to drive, oversee, and improve the implementation and optimization of our healthcare software systems. The Operations team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the Operations team’s success, such as:
- Implement Projects:
- Responsible for delivery of all aspects of the project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
- Coordinate team activities, define scope, project objectives, and roles of team members
- Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring timelines, milestones, and goals are met.
- Communicate project status, decisions, updates, and changes to stakeholders, facilitating decision-making and project progress.
- Plan, estimate, schedule project work, monitor, and report on project progress.
- Identify and mitigate project issues and risks
- Lead and facilitate meetings with all levels of clients – including preparing materials
- Be intimately familiar with both client and Fusion applications workflows and processes.
- Lead the planning, configuration, and implementation of EHR systems within healthcare organizations.
- Work with complex workflows, demonstrating knowledge of integrated workflows and applications to provide system solutions.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand workflows and develop system support, including requirements analysis and documentation.
- Configure and customize EHR software settings to align with clinical and administrative processes.
- Conduct site assessments
- Provide training and development support to client users on applications as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of EHR configurations, changes, and user manuals.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate across all levels of the company and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
- Work with IT professionals, clinicians, and administrators to optimize EHR system functionality.

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience in SaaS project management
- Proven experience with health technology implementations. Familiarity with database management and system integration is a plus.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA.
- Strong understanding of technology fundamentals and ability to learn technology quickly
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Atlassian software products like JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in large-scale technology implementations or government projects is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to Fusion offices and client sites as assigned.
Additional Details:
- This is an on-site (hybrid), full-time, salaried position at our Topeka, KS office location. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
