What You’ll Do:
Position Overview: The Clinical Product Manager is a key role that bridges clinical expertise and product innovation, driving the transformation of b.well's digital health platform through scalable, impactful clinical programs & insights. This pivotal role demands a visionary clinician capable of translating complex clinical logic & insights into seamless product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance healthcare delivery to consumers. By integrating regulatory compliance, market intelligence, and technological innovation, the ideal candidate will deliver clinical programs & insights that not only meet current healthcare challenges but anticipate future needs, ultimately expanding the platform's clinical capabilities and market relevance. Reporting directly to the AVP of Clinical Strategy, this position requires a unique blend of medical acumen, clinical data experience, and strategic product thinking. The ideal candidate will collaborate extensively with product, data teams, and client stakeholders to accelerate the execution and continuous evolution of clinical initiatives, positioning b.well as a pioneering force in digital health transformation that improves patient outcomes and product performance. - Clinical Product Strategy: Create and execute a strategic roadmap for clinical programs & insights that is aligned with corporate objectives, drives innovation and accelerates company growth.
- Clinical Product Feature Development: Collaborate on design, solutioning and implementation of transformative product workflows that translate and deliver clinical outcomes and scalable healthcare solutions. Define and operationalize clinical logic & requirements bridging clinical complexity, interoperability standards and evidence-based medicine with product features.
- Document Clinical Program Innovation Requirements: Collaborate with product and data teams to develop and document clinical feature requirements that accelerate engineering velocity and maintain clinical quality standards. Systematically transform traditional healthcare delivery through digital innovative and intelligent solutions that enhance consumer health engagement and optimize clinical outcomes.
- Coordinate Across Teams: Drive integrated clinical product strategy by orchestrating cross-functional collaboration among clinical, product, consumer engagement, data, and engineering teams to advance the company's digital health objectives.
- Optimize Clinical Results: Develop data-driven outcomes monitoring frameworks that highlight clinical performance, drive strategic OKRs/KPIs, and inform product strategy.
- Market Analysis & Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to align clinical program development with emerging healthcare trends across interoperability, value-based care, digital health and consumerism.
- Clinical Content Strategy: Integrate clinical expertise with content and UX design to create meaningful, evidence-based consumer-centric healthcare interactions that translate complex insights into personalized digital experiences.
- Quality Measure & Regulatory Alignment: Align product solutions with comprehensive quality measures across HEDIS, CMS, and industry standards to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate strategic communication across internal and external clinical stakeholders to drive collaborative discovery & innovative workflows..
- Reporting & Presentations: Translate program performance and clinical data insights into clear, strategic narratives for internal and external leaders and stakeholders.
- Clinical Project Management: In collaboration with product & design, implement, and manage clinical programs & features that align with organizational goals and meet the needs of healthcare consumers, providers, and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource management, and risk management strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects across different stages and priorities, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills
- Sales/Implementation Support: Provide clinical expertise and strategic product insights to support sales and client implementation efforts, offering clinical guidance, demonstrating platform capabilities, and translating clinical value propositions into strategic narratives that accelerate customer adoption. Capture and document clinical requirements during implementations to hand-off to product and engineering teams for build.
Job Requirements:- Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of related clinical experience (RN, NP, MD, MPH), with demonstrated expertise in software development, digital health innovation, clinical product strategy, and technological transformation in acute healthcare/managed care environments.
- 5+ years in digital healthcare leveraging emerging healthcare technologies (i.e. AI, LLMs) and/or clinical product strategy to drive clinical program innovation.
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience with advanced proficiency in healthcare informatics, BI tools, and digital health technologies.
- Experience with technical management systems and innovation platforms (Jira/Confluence etc.).
- Deep understanding of clinical terminology and technological standards (CPT, HCPCS, ICD, SNOMED, LOINC).
- 3+ years of disease management experience.
- Proven experience building, scaling, and innovating digital and clinical programs through technology.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex clinical and technological concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to compile complex clinical and product requirements.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional collaboration, seamlessly integrating clinical expertise with product innovation to deliver impactful solutions.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven ability to navigate complex healthcare priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The target salary range for this position is $115,000 - $165,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
