About The Role
We're looking for a talented Strategy & Operations hire to join our team. You will work directly with our CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff to help advance M7's most important strategic priorities. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that spans business operations, strategic planning, and AI-driven execution — designed for someone who wants to be at the center of where the company is going.
You will bring a rigorous, structured approach to the most important problems facing the business — thinking like a consultant, moving like a startup operator, and building with an AI-first mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Priorities:
- Partner with the CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff to drive forward M7's highest-priority strategic and operational initiatives.
- Own projects end-to-end — from structuring the problem and developing recommendations to seeing them through to execution.
- Build the analyses, frameworks, and materials that help leadership make fast, well-informed decisions.
- AI Strategy & Innovation:
- Help M7 develop and execute an AI-first operating model — identifying where AI can drive the most leverage across the business, piloting tools, and embedding new workflows across the team.
- Stay ahead of the AI landscape and bring proactive recommendations on where M7 should be investing time and tooling.
- Business Operations:
- Own key operational cadences — planning cycles, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination — ensuring the business runs with clarity and focus.
- Identify inefficiencies and build systems, processes, and playbooks to address them.
- Growth & Sales Support:
- Provide strategic support to the growth team — including building sales materials, supporting demos, and helping drive outbound automation using modern AI tooling.
About You:
- Structured Thinker: You have a consulting-style approach to problem-solving — you break ambiguous challenges into clear frameworks, develop hypotheses, and drive toward actionable recommendations. You are just as comfortable building a strategic recommendation as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute it.
- AI-Native: You are deeply curious about AI tools and have hands-on experience using them to automate workflows, accelerate research, and improve output quality.
- Bias for Action: You move fast, you treat every piece of work as an opportunity to raise the bar.
- Attitude and Culture: You hold yourself to an uncompromising standard and work tirelessly. Once you take something on, you don't let go until it's done right. Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or investment bank — candidates who are used to working on high-stakes problems for demanding stakeholders and producing rigorous, structured work product are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with or eagerness to learn AI and automation tools — candidates excited to get their hands dirty building efficient workflows are especially compelling.
- A passion for healthcare and the mission of improving the nurse experience.
Hybrid Environment
This is a role based in New York City. We believe a regular cadence of in-person collaboration accelerates learning, reinforces team culture, and drives efficiency for early-stage companies. We have an office in Manhattan and expect this role to be in-office four days per week.
