FAQ

Who is the Hey Health Tech job board for?

The Hey Health Tech job board is for clinicians looking for nontraditional roles in health tech. I've worked in the space for a decade with roles both clinical and nonclinical and I can tell you that no other job board is better attuned to your skillset as a healthcare pro better and which roles may be suited for. Whether you're new to health tech or are looking for your next tech role, you're in the right place.

What types of jobs are posted?

This board is intended for people with traditional clinical backgrounds in fields like medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, pharmacy, occupational therapy, nursing, nutrition, and more. Because of that you'll find a lot of clinical roles in the health tech world that may need a specific license in specific state. I try to limit these roles to those and tech companies and insurers, and heavily lean toward remote roles.

However, you'll also find a lot of other jobs with titles that you have perhaps never considered. These nonclinical roles ususally do not specific a particular license or background being necessary, and can range from project management to analytics to operations.

How often are new jobs posted?

We update our job listings multiple times per week, so you’ll always have access to the most recent opportunities in the health tech industry.

I've tried applying to remote jobs before and they're really competitive. How do I make sure I stand out if I only have clinical experience?

Over the past few years remote jobs have gotten more and more competitive, but don't let that deter you! There is still so much opportunity for clinicians to break in, especially those that know how to position their skills in ways that look attractive to hiring companies.
