Nourish
On-site
New York, NY

About Us

Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the role

As a Commercial Strategy Associate / Lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing Nourish’s go to market strategy with health plans and employers. You’ll lead high-impact initiatives across pricing, reimbursement, value-based care strategy, and launching new products—working closely with Nourish leadership and senior external leaders. Your work will be instrumental in creating long-term revenue opportunities for Nourish across existing and new products, and will shape the future of how payers and employers invest in nutrition.

This person will report into our Commercial Strategy Director and work closely with our broader go to market and operations teams.

This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up at a mission-driven, fast-growing healthcare company. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments, love solving ambiguous problems, and want to help scale a company redefining how healthcare works — we’d love to meet you.

This is a full-time, NYC-based role (3-4 days/week in our Flatiron office, with some remote flexibility).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contracting Strategy & Execution: Own Nourish's contracting and renegotiations roadmap, designing strategic approaches for new market entry, developing workarounds for complex contracting scenarios, and leading end-to-end execution across payer partnerships
  • Pricing Strategy & Analytics: Build and own our pricing forecasts, develop and execute against our negotiation strategy, and regularly report insights & recommendations to leadership to support our top line goals
  • Contract Activation & Operations: Operationalize payer relationships, collaborating closely with Revenue Strategy, Credentialing, and EPD to ensure contracts are implemented cleanly and our teams can execute effectively
  • Value-Based Care Strategy: Advance our value-based care strategy, developing and refining approaches for alternative payment models and supporting our Partnerships team in executing these opportunities
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner cross-functionally with teams across Nourish (e.g., Strategic Finance, Partnerships, Clinical Operations, Business Operations) to align on goals, pressure-test assumptions, and deliver on key initiatives
  • Commercialize new bets: Figure out the contracting and pricing strategy for emerging products and ensure they’re ready to scale with payers

We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have 2–5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, strategy, or operations roles at high-growth companies
  • You are a strategic thinker, comfortable in ambiguity and excited by tackling 0 → 1 problems
  • You have strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; comfortable modeling and drawing insights from data
  • You are an excellent communicator who can synthesize complex insights into actionable recommendations
  • You are a self-starter with high bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to dive into details
  • You have strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
  • You have a passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes through innovation and scale
