The Director, Business Development for Retail (Fertility and Chronic) at Alto Pharmacy will be pivotal in driving the growth and success of our fertility, speciality and chronic condition services. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with Alto Pharmacy’s mission and objectives for fertility and chronic care services.
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market presence and drive growth in the retail sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions into the retail strategy.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the effective management of the retail business operations, focusing on performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish best practices and operational processes that support scalable growth and enhance the customer experience in retail pharmacy settings.
Sales and Business Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing business development team to drive market penetration and revenue growth in fertility and chronic care sectors.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies, goals, and performance metrics to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the business development team.
Digital Health Integration:
- Leverage digital health technologies to enhance the retail pharmacy experience and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with technology and product teams to deploy innovative digital health solutions tailored to the needs of fertility and chronic care patients.
- Stay informed of emerging trends in digital health to maintain a competitive advantage.
Industry Relations and Partnerships:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and healthcare organizations to promote Alto Pharmacy’s services.
- Represent Alto Pharmacy at industry events, conferences, and forums, enhancing our brand and thought leadership in the fertility and chronic care markets.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships that align with our business objectives and drive mutual value.
A Bit About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development within the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles, particularly in retail pharmacy or related sectors, with a focus on fertility and chronic care.
- Extensive experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams, with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Expertise in digital health solutions and their application in retail pharmacy settings.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively drive change.
- Strong network of industry connections that can be leveraged for business growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading and growing retail pharmacy operations, specifically in fertility and chronic care sectors.
- Proven experience in implementing digital health solutions that enhance patient engagement and outcomes.

Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: TCC - $268,800 - $336,000
Commission Eligible: Yes
Equity Eligible: Yes
Travel: Yes - Required up to 30% of the time
Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: California,, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, Washington (WA), Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin.
