This role is fully remote and must be located within the 50 U.S. states. Preference for residence in the Greater Boston Area. Standard working hours are in Eastern Timezone. Semi-annual travel may be required to a Devoted office for on-site work.
A bit about this role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager to support medical record retrieval and management for a new and highly critical area of work for Devoted’s Risk Adjustment Operations. This role requires strong analytical abilities, an appetite for problem solving. and a collaborative mindset to ensure the efficient and accurate collection of medical charts across multiple simultaneous initiatives. While your primary focus is executing medical record retrieval, you will also serve as a key member of the External Audit Program team, supporting the end-to-end management of the entire audit lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:
Oversee and coordinate chart retrieval efforts across various methods and initiatives
Manage and analyze performance metrics and dashboards to drive actionable insights and improvements in record retrieval processes. This includes building out AI-native monitoring of program-wide KPIs that support regular operational updates and reporting to leadership
Support efforts to establish and/or expand Electronic Health Record “EHR” access
Support and improve Devoted’s ability to request provider records
Implement strategies to identify and rectify discrepancies in record retrieval efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and/or improve processes
Support and improve Devoted’s operational ability to obtain provider attestations
Standardize and document all processes
Required skills and experience:
Proven experience in healthcare operations management, particularly in audit preparation and medical record retrieval.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and audit standards.
Experience in managing performance metrics and dashboards to evaluate process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. This includes continuously evaluating operations for automation opportunities and efficiency gains.
Effective project management techniques, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across various teams and stakeholders. Serve as a primary liaison between the External Audit Program and other internal departments such as Clinical Data Acquisition and Network to facilitate data exchange.
Proficiency in various EHR systems and healthcare data management platforms.
High degree of comfort pulling and analyzing data using spreadsheets, with experience or appetite to leverage database query tools.
Initiative-driven with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing situations and requirements.
Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Familiarity with CMS regulations, Medicare Advantage and RADV audit processes is a plus.

Salary range: ​$73,000 - $125,000 /year
The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
